Between 1994 and 2002, young Anglican and Old Catholic theologians of both sexes met regularly to exchange ideas in an a series of nine seminars. The seminars were started by theology students who had come into contact with students of the other denomination while on periods of study abroad. They grew to hold an important place in Anglican-Old Catholic relations.
In 2005, many of the participants in these seminars met at the Anglican and Old Catholic Theologians' Conference in Leeds, England.
The International Anglican/Old Catholic Co-ordinating Committee (AOCICC) also holds theological discussions at a high level.
